A: The school that eventually became Trinity International University in 1995 first opened in 1897.

A: Trinity International University, a liberal arts college with a campus in Deerfield, Illinois, and Regional Centers in Florida, Chicago, and California, offers a wide range of undergraduate majors, including nontraditional options. Trinity Graduate School offers several programs available in Florida, California, and Deerfield, Illinois. Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, one of the largest seminaries in the world, enrolls more than 1,200 graduate students in professional and academic programs, including more than 100 in its PhD programs. At the heart of the divinity school lies the Master of Divinity degree. TEDS also offers a range of more focused programs: the Master of Arts academic program and Master of Arts professional programs. The school offers the ThM and DMin as well. Trinity Law School offers the Juris Doctor degree. Graduates may sit for the Bar examination of the State Bar of California.

Trinity is also approved by the Illinois State Board of Education and the Department of Veterans Affairs State Approving Agency. Trinity holds membership in the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities, a group of more than a hundred Christian colleges in North America.
