There are many scholarship opportunities and resources for adult students offered by outside organizations. These scholarships are independent of Trinity's Financial Aid office. If you have any questions regarding these scholarships, consult the organization directly.

American Association of University Women
Organization offering scholarship awards to women who are continuing their education after a significant interruption. Awards are available to Lombard, Illinois, and surrounding area residents only.
Chicago Urban League
This Scholarship Program is a competitive initiative funded by various donors in order to support students in need of financial assistance as they pursue their post-secondary education.
Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute
Multiple scholarship and financial aid resources for Hispanic students. Deadlines vary based on scholarship.
Evangelical Lutheran Church of American (ELCA)
Scholarships are awarded to ELCA women pursuing administrative and non-ministry careers.
Gates Millennium Scholars
Provides outstanding low income minority students with an opportunity to complete an undergraduate college education in any discipline area of interest.
Illinois Student Assistance Commission
Comprehensive information regarding financial aid for Illinois residents. Provides scholarship and grant information for teachers, military personnel, and others.
Jeannette Rankin Foundation Women's Education Fund
The Jeannette Rankin Foundation continues the legacy of Jeanette Rankin, the first woman elected to Congress. Every year, scholarships of $1,500 are available to 25 women, age 35 or above, to pursue their education. Awards are made to promising students with severe financial need.
Linda Lael Miller Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded to women, age 25 or older, who are non-traditional students. These women must have a difficult time finding scholarships for which they qualify. This scholarship fund may be used for tuition, books, child care, transportation, and other expenses not covered by traditional scholarships.
Outstanding Working Mom Scholarship
The Libertyville Junior Women’s Club (LJWC) is pleased to accept applications for the “2010 Outstanding Working Mom Scholarship” of $1,000. This scholarship is for working moms currently enrolled in a 2 or 4 year school who are able to demonstrate a need for financial assistance to complete the education process. Applicant must be employed at the time of application and be a resident of Lake County, Illinois.
"REACh Your Goals" Scholarship Program
Scholarships awarded to students who attend schools that are a member of the Resources for the Education of Adults in the Chicago Area (REACh). The REACH Adult Undergraduate Program at Trinity is not affiliated with REACh, but is a member of this organization.
Soroptimist International of the Americas Women's Opportunity Award
Service organization offering scholarships to women who are heads of households and return to school later in life. Financial need is a primary consideration.
State Farm Hispanic Scholarship Fund
State Farm Companies Foundation in relationship with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to 20 Hispanic college students who are pursuing a teaching career.
StraightForward Media's Teacher Scholarship
StraightForward Media's new program offers four scholarships per year exclusively to students who will become teachers.
Talbots Women's Scholarships Fund
Since 1997, this classic women's clothing retailer has dedicated $100,000 a year to a national scholarship program to help women complete their undergraduate education. Each year, five women are awarded $10,000 each, and 50 women, $1,000 each to return to school. You must have been away from school for at least 5 years to be eligible.
USA Funds-Access to Education Scholarships
