Rolfing Library Policy on Gift Material

Books and media donated to the Rolfing Library will be made available to students, and other community members at regular book sales.  These sales allow students to supplement their personal library with low cost books and provides funds for the library. 

We welcome all donations for these sales but due to current tax laws are unable to give a receipt or otherwise provide documentation that will allow you to claim the gift as a tax deduction.

Material donated by faculty members will be evaluated for possible addition to Rolfing’s collection.  The time and cost involved in evaluating precludes us from considering donated items from other sources as additions to the collection but the librarians may make exceptions for individual items that are perceived as exceptionally valuable.
