Distance Education Course Registration Calendar

Beginning in 2008, registration procedures for Distance Education courses will be as described below. The Registration Calendar allows TEDS to more accurately report Distance Education enrollments and is not intended to stifle the flexibility that characterizes our services. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the Office of Distance Education. In other words, if you want to register for a specific semester (for financial or academic reasons) note the registration dates below. Please note that you are registered for only one semester.

 

If you are an...

Extension, Visiting or Part-time Deerfield Campus Student

the following applies:

  1. Register through the DE Office. Find our online registration form here. You may submit a registration any day of the year. Please contact the DE office for more information.
  2. Course registration is for a given semester, though course extensions may be granted by petition to the DE Office.
  3. Visiting students may enroll in a maximum of 9 hours per semester.

If you are a...

Full-time Deerfield Campus Student

the following applies:

  1. Register online with your regular TEDS registration procedure.
  2. Distance Education course work must be completed during the semester of enrollment and is subject to the regular (very limited) extension policy for full-time Deerfield campus students through the Dean of Students Office.
  3. A limited number of DE courses may be applied to TEDS programs. Review the graduation requirements for your degree program in the catalog for limits.
