Transfer CreditAfter successful completion of a full semester of academic work at Trinity, students may be able to receive transfer credit for studies taken at other fully accredited graduate institutions. Official transcripts of previous work must show satisfactory grades in the courses to be considered, and previous course work must parallel courses listed in the TEDS catalog. Transfer credit will not be granted for undergraduate course work, graduate-level course work applied to an undergraduate degree, or for course work taken at nonaccredited seminaries or graduate schools. All students must fulfill the minimum residency requirement for the desired program at Trinity. If you have already completed a master’s degree at another institution, possible transfer credit will be limited to a maximum of 50 percent of the total credits associated with the shorter degree. Students who wish to receive transfer credit for work done at another school should write to the Records Office as soon as possible to request an evaluation of their possible transfer credit. Transfer of credit is not automatic and will only be considered upon request. Final decisions on transfer credit rest with the Director of Records in consultation with the Academic Dean. |
