Preference is given to applicants in a leadership position commensurate with the degree, and who demonstrate that the PhD will contribute in particular ways to continued development in their ministry. Applicants are required to have at least four years experience related to the purposes of the degree program. Previous academic performance is an important factor; but we are also concerned about the applicant's capacity for substantive academic and professional interaction with colleagues in the program.
