Suzanne DeLaCruz, EdD

Suzanne DeLaCruz is assistant professor of Education at Trinity College. She earned her Bachelor of Arts at Valparaiso University, her Master of Arts at the University of Illinois, and her Doctor of Education at Loyola University.

Dr. DeLaCruz joins Trinity after thirty years serving as an educator in urban, suburban, and rural public schools: fifteen years as a middle and high school reading, language arts, and language arts/social studies teacher and fifteen years as an elementary and middle school principal. She is currently a member of the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development and the International Reading Association. Her main academic interests revolve around curriculum and instruction issues, particularly in the areas of literacy development and best practices, and organizational leadership.
