Collegiate athletics develops competitive instincts and team skills useful in business.
Nearly half of all business majors are involved in Trinity athletics programs.
Opportunities include roles as team managers.
Trinity Council on Business (TCB)
Membership: Open to all Business majors, minors and undecided students.
Officers elected each academic year in the spring.
Mission: Provide conducive environment for spiritual, academic, and personal growth in preparation for Christ-centered leadership in the business world
Purpose: Serve Christ by serving business students, the university and community as a whole.
Goals:
- Support the mission of TIU
- Be the voice of the student in curriculum and social matters
- Provide a support system for all business students
- Create an outlet for ideas, concerns and application studies
- Challenge and cultivate students preparing to become Christian leaders in the business world
Accounting Students Association (ASA)
Membership: Open only to accounting majors
Officers elected each academic year in the spring.
Goals:
- Sponsor field trips to local businesses
- Support members efforts to pass the CPA exam
- Network with accounting alumni and local businesses
